At the preschool Christmas Program Sam was by FAR the loudest singer in the whole class. Gabe was right there with him belting out "Go Tell It On the Mountain". I'm not sure they were the most in tune but they certainly had a lot of volume.

And enthusiasm. They play a mean ice cream lid tambourine.

My side of the family has a lot of musical talent. Doug's side? Maybe not quite as much.

We're not sure where the kids fall in that spectrum but they certainly give it their all.

How cute is their little class?

Grandpa Steve gave Leona a karaoke machine for Christmas. She knows that it's just for her. The boys have to ask permission to use it.
They are not always so happy about that.
It makes Leona immensely happy.

She doesn't sing very loud. But she sings very sweetly.
We've gotten some new music for her to sing along with and have been having fun learning these new songs.
Today while I was cleaning I heard the kids singing in the basement while playing Lego's.
Gabe: "Oh lasagna! Why don't you try to me!"
Sam: "That's NOT how it goes! It's 'O Sue SAMUEL! Why don't you lie a tree!' "
Leona: "Boys! You are BOTH not singing it right. It's 'O Suzanna! Won't you sing with me?' THAT'S How it goes!"
It doesn't matter HOW you sing it. It just matters that you make a joyful noise and sing along!

That's hilarious! I love it! Of course Sam would think it's his name. :)
It does kind of sound like his name a bit doesn't it??!?! And didn't you love that pic of him and Gabe! Their expresions are hysterical!
