A Visit with Debbie and Gary

The last couple of days of our California adventure included a couple of nights staying in Stockton with Doug's Aunt Debbie and Uncle Gary. We had SUCH a wonderful time with our very gracious host and hostess. We invaded their lovely home, ate their delicious steaks, drank their wonderful wine, swam in their spectacular pool and most importantly terrorized Poor Patches the Cat! We laughed often and had a few tears as we left (and not all of them were because we had to climb BACK into the van to drive another 600 miles!). Thank you again Debbie and Gary! You were a great ending to our adventure!!!

Leona LOVED Patches. And Patches found Leona the least threatening of the kids!

Puzzle Time!
They LOVED putting their new puzzles together. Sam was SO proud after finding each piece!
Checking under the hood??? Check out who is driving us home!
The kids not being very cooperative for yet another photo session.
The kids were FASCINATED with the hammock! Anytime they were in the yard there was at least one kid hanging out in there. They were also pretty good at giving you a "ride" in the hammock too!
Debbie and our little fish!
At the pool there was a funky flower splash park. Leona and Sam loved it! Gabe was a little scared of the water but he eventually "warmed" up to it...even when he was shivering while running through!
All this swimming can sure make a girl tired!
Looking for Sharks. Really. They actually WERE looking for sharks!
