Winter Garden Aglow

We've had a nice relaxing Thanksgiving weekend. We made a turkey for just us on Thursday and now we've been enjoying the leftovers! One of my favorite things to do in Boise over the holidays is head to the Botanical Gardens and check out all the lights for Winter Garden Aglow. Every year volunteers put thousands of strands of lights all over the gardens and the place becomes absolutely magical!

We took the kiddos there tonight and they had a blast. There is so much to explore and see (and if you are Gabe to climb!). They absolutely loved it. We put up some Christmas lights at our house on Thursday night and they were pretty fascinated by that. This brought Christmas lights to a whole new level!

They do keep calling them "Party Lights" though! In our backyard we had some fun summer lights over the patio area. They loved turning those on and they knew always remembered that we had originally put them up for their birthday. From that point on they were the "Party Lights". So I guess this was a pretty big party!

The Garden...a glowing!
