Usually in Boise we have beautiful weather. It looks a little something like this out our backyard...
Today around 5pm it looked like this...There was even a little bit of thunder! Gabe was the most frightened of the thunder but we had a nice little discussion how the angels were playing on big drums in the sky. That made them feel a lot better.
Which sent small children in search of their favorite item of clothing...their RAIN BOOTS!!! We don't get to wear them very often but when it rains the kids get all excited about their rain boots!
Sam had the BEST time in the rain. He wanted to "Dwink da Wain (drink the rain)". He was running in and out every few minutes to get another drink!
He even talked Sissy into doing it too...but really I think he's laughing at how silly she looks!
He got a little bit wet...but that didn't bother him at all! 
Sometimes they just crack me up. They were SO thrilled with our tiny bit of rain!
And when you see them doing this together...
It makes your entire day seem like one big rainbow!
