Zoo School

For the last month we have been going to Zoo School on Thursday mornings. We have an annual pass to the Boise Zoo and we have certainly gotten our money out of it! On Thursday mornings we signed up for a preschool class. It's only an hour long but we usually wander around the zoo first and then head to class.

Each week we talk about a different animal. We've talked about Turtles, Tigers, Cockroaches and Penguins. Usually there is a craft, a trip to visit the animal (or it comes to visit us), a story and some other activity (such as flapping our wings like different kinds of birds since penguins are a bird).

The kids have LOVED going to zoo school and they are SO proud of their crafts! I'm usually covered in glue and glitter by the end of the class but they really have had a great time.

Story time
Checking out the penguins!
Silly Penguins!
This penguin is a LOT taller than Gabe!
Watching them swim around.

Gabe petting the turtle.
Our Turtle Treasure boxes
In the "snake" tree. There is a funny stuffed snake in there and Sis FREAKED out when the boys first brought it out of the tree. Apparently she takes after Mom!
At the fountain across the park. They LOVE to visit the fountain.

Don't fall in!!!
